What to do with the scarfs you got for free

So today while shopping, I was offered a 'free' surprise gift bag with a value of around 250 kr, me like!
When I opened the bag, there were two scarf... with flowers,... summer flowers :s  shame shame , I thought, then i remembered how cheap they all were and decided to make use of them instead.
Long live positivity!

At my school there is this little corner right before the balcony, its has a chair and a desk and the walls are covered with books about culture, fashion, biology, empty notebooks, story books- the walls are covered with inspiration.

For a while now a friend of mine has been trying to encourage me to put some of my little work up so that we can 

also keep in touch artistically since he is oceans away- It´s been long over due but mostly because i was waiting for the perfect scanner that would scan in all my work without compromising a single stroke of pencil lol, ridiculous i know so i found out that snapping a picture of it was just as good. But today i wanted to share a bit of my creative world and tell a story about myself in a different way :) - I must say that my work changes because i´m always experimenting and exploring different techniques until i feel totally at home with what i´ve done-who knows, hopefully one day, i´ll find my perfect stroke ;) 

Anyway, here a a few fashion illustration sketches  and don´t mind the date on them , they are very recent.

Sunday inspiration

Hola! 

So it´s getting pretty crowded time-spending wise! Are you sure there are 24 hours a day?? I shamefully spent the whole day watching def poetry on evil you-tube with my baby sister - for 4 hours straight! I even learnt to clips with my fingers because clapping is too commercial and not as artistically appreciated in the  poetry world :P But yeah, it was when I looked at the clock then back at my sister who had somehow disappeared under the sofa snoring away with boredom that it donned on me that maybe I had watched 50 videos too many? So instead we watched a Korean movie (The Last Blossom) where I sorta cried myself to a headache, priceless how they NEVER disappoint. Yeah, that pretty much summed my very productive Sunday- I have a rule , do ALL your homework in the weekday, that way you can absolutely do as you please on weekends,.. that´s for next week though :P too late to save this week,which is why  I need to hit some pages concerning design aesthetic and other fashionably subjects.. maybe I could write a poem first *Drifts away John Dorian style*  No no no no, play time is over .. muuusst staayyy disciplined- just after i leave you with these pretty pictures yeah?

You and me in the wild

Hey hey guys!

So lately i´ve been over taken with everyday school related things, yes, school- i got into a really cool fashion school which also happens to be close to my family and so a new adventure begins!
Yesterday however, i took my little sister out for some salmon and spinach pizza  (trust me, it´s tasty) and some over steamed hotness aka Ryan Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love but funny enough we came four days too soon , i guess i was too excited, ooh the gutting disappointment... but i didn´t want to let my little sis down, so we ended up watching Horrible Bosses which was actually pretty funny once it got started but i´ll be back! Thursday!

The rest of the weekend was spent  celebrating the return of my camera´s charger which i had so wisely
forgotten in Berlin during my summer vacation. Yay me? lol, i love that saying, yay me, it´s both annoying but still amusing in a narcissistic kind of way :p  Anywho, we celebrated by taking it for a walk in the wild, where we were almost  attacked by a stag/ male deer and eaten alive by blood thirsty Mexican mosquito s ! Okay,maybe they weren´t Mexican but  just mucho loca,  Ah, good times lol.
Anywho, between being attacked and the celebrating we also had time to take some pictures :)

Whenever you are on a hunt for some style inspiration, it´s always vital that you look at people who are shaped the same way as you are. You can´t be looking at Serena Williams style look-book for inspiration if you are shaped like mini hottie Christina Ricci,.. unless your looking for socks, cause i hear that those fit everyone the same. When looking for inspiration or even just wondering whether to get a certain outfit or not, i try to see whether it would suit me; my height, my shape, my color, my head shape, by simply searching for people who have the same body features as i do.

People who also have humble chests, short, wide hips and a roundly kind of face action going on.

This times Team Shorties member is Ashley Olsen, i have a great crush on Ashley O, mostly for her casual, laid-back yet chic way of putting an outfit together, i would say i´m more her than Mary-Kate who sometimes, though fab in her own way, tends to be a bit too intense for my taste-

Lesson learnt: Black always goes a long way and like diamonds, it´s always in style, keep it simple, smooth and rap it all up with a touch of edge. Oh and, glasses glasses glasses.

To do a weave or go natural!??

Sometimes my hair is my best friend and it can be really nice when it wants to, but sometimes it´s just a mess
and wont budge no matter what i try - these are the moments i feel like chopping it all off but then i see pictures of miss pretty afro Corinne Bailey Rae upstairs and then suddenly i have the will to be patient a little longer, let it flow, let it grow.

Lately, i have been thinking much about this head crowning business,  because apparently, what you crown your head with determines which team you are playing for. On one side they are saying that if you rock a weave, you are pro wanna-be, the other side says rock an afro, you´re remaining true to the motherland- but some really cool people are saying, "I am not my hair!" I guess that´s where i stand too. I´m trying to grow my natural hair by taking better care of it- right now it´s in rasta twists and has not been relaxed for more than a year, so i guess i´m in the middle.

Buuuuuut lately, i´ve been feeling tempted to get me some weavy waves just because sometimes you wanna run like the wind or redo a Baywatch scene without you hair giving you attitude "you go right ahead, i´m staying right here" sometimes you want it to come along,you know, go with the wind a bit. lol . So i want to try a different protective style.
But  i support both parties because at the end of the day, it´s what makes YOU feel good about yourself and nothing else.Plus, it´s just hair not kidneys.

Question, from a weavy newbie, who also plans on doing it herself (I know, risky)
What do you pros recommend as a starting package?? hair type wise- i want something that still looks natural and i´ve been watching million of YouTube tutorials the bast two years but let me know if you have some suggestion, opinions or even warnings. Appreciated Cheers
